An Insight into Beans and Cassava

Day four of Knowledge Sharing Week continues. In the Agrobiodiversity session, CIAT’s Steve Beebe spoke about the Pan-African Bean Research Alliance (PABRA) and, amongst other issues, what the Alliance is doing in order to reach more end users. You can see the slideshow here.

According to Hernan Ceballos, Cassava Program Leader, cassava was championed as “an ideal vehicle for rural development that can be used to reach the poorest people.” It will also be an important crop in achieving eco-efficiency. You can see the slideshow here.
